I am very excited to announce my new streaming channel on Twitch!
Twitch is an American video live streaming service that focuses on creative content, music broadcasts, "in real life" streams, and so much more.
I have started broadcasting on Friday nights at 6 PM and Sunday mornings at 10 AM Pacific standard time. I'm going to be able to give short, individual, and group readings. There will be Giveaways too!
Joining me will give us the opportunity to communicate on a more continuous basis. Even if you don't have a short reading, one of the beautiful takeaways during my live broadcast is what you can learn and relate to from the readings of others and how it may apply to your own life.
I would love for you to join me, and even though I won't be able to see you, you can see me and write questions in the chat. Imagine the enlightening conversations we can have!
Below are instructions on how to join me.
To sign up on Twitch, go to Twitch.tv and select the Sign-up button on the top-right portion of the page. This will open the Login / Sign Up screen. Fill out the short, easy form. Create a username (you can make it anything you want to remain anonymous if you would like), set your password and date of birth, and then choose to either add your phone number or email for verification purposes. Additionally, don't forget to tell us that you are not a robot! You can also choose to be a subscriber, which is just $5 a month, so you aren't interrupted by commercials; otherwise, it is free!
Once you have signed up, go to the search bar and type in my name Christopher Laprath to get to my channel.
On your phone, download the Twitch Mobile App for your device. Once downloaded and installed, launch the app on your device and tap the Sign Up button.
When signing up for an account on mobile, you will be able to sign up using your mobile phone number (landline or VOIP phone numbers will not be accepted) or email address. We highly recommend signing up with your phone number and adding and verifying your email to your account later. Verifying your email address will:
▪ Allow us to send you notifications for channels you follow (if you enable notifications).
▪ Allow for account recovery should you lose access to your phone.
▪ Allow you to chat in channels with the verified email chat setting enabled.
Your phone may provide a quick fill option for your phone number during Sign up, which you can use to enter your phone number quickly if you choose to do so.
